2nd Solo in Black Peter
is one of my favorite Jerry solo's i've ever heard...first the space melting into NFA is seamless.. fabulous moment.. Then the peter to follow. Probably
...
the best I've heard. Jerry's emotions on this version are spine tingling. Just as he yells the "Run and See" part (which he usually cries), he erupts in a volcanic like solo. No pause, no mellow weave ala his bread and butter. Just pure fire. Never heard him take one so aggressive in this song. He reaches some places far away, beyond space and time. Just channeling the greatest love from the mother father in the most heartfelt and pure of ways. Just check the peter for yourself. The whole show smokes, others point out the peggy-o, china>rider, let it grow... so it's a show full of highlights
